Amit is a second-generation entrepreneur with over three decades of experience building and managing businesses across textiles, agriculture, chemicals and e-commerce. His work across India and international markets gives him a broad understanding of diverse business models, operating practices and the challenges business leaders share.

He serves on the boards of several Indian companies and manages a non-profit foundation. He previously served as Treasurer on the board of a major industry organisation based in Geneva. He currently serves as Secretary on the board of a US non-profit focused on sustainability—a role he has held for over seven years.

Amit co-founded Traidster to address the challenges he experienced while growing his own businesses. He saw an opportunity to make technology affordable, practical and scalable for small and medium enterprises, with solutions that adapt to their business models and workflows.

At Traidster, he brings an entrepreneur’s perspective to product development, recognising the importance of flexible processes, meaningful data analysis and real-time visibility in everyday decision-making. His vision is to equip every business owner, regardless of size, with the tools to optimise operations and grow with confidence.

Shashank brings over two decades of technology leadership across global financial institutions — Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank, SMFG and IDFC First Bank — spanning Silicon Valley, Wall Street, London, Singapore and Mumbai, in organisation-wide engineering and architecture leadership roles.

He serves on the board of a leading NBFC and a growing agri-eCommerce company, and on advisory councils for state governments and academia on FinTech and AI.

After working with very large financial institutions and extremely expensive enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions, he co-founded Traidster with Amit with a shared vision: to make solutions both technologically and economically accessible to small and medium-sized enterprises, which form the majority of businesses in India and around the world.
